Velcro
Vocoder (CD/LP)

Synopses

Vocoder is a stunning debut from Portland, Oregon’s Velcro; featuring members of Moan, Moist and Gladhouse.  Gorgeous melodies mixed with quirky synth breaks, driving bass lines, and vocals reminiscent of Elvis Costello or Brit Daniels will raise eyebrows and captivate audiences anywhere. Sanchez's first serious attempt at songwriting since Love Songs For Party People reveals the expansion of his musical repetoire and his keen ability for indie rock appeal. Songs like "Riding Your Coattails" and "Dead To Me" give the album a darker color, while others like "The Candidate" and "Betty Galatay" take it back to rock n' roll roots.
